Country Church Day
Under the direction of pastor Dr. William B. Forrest, the Gilboa congregation initiated the tradition of Country Church Day in 1915. Usually observed on the first Sunday of May, it serves as an annual homecoming for members, friends, and guests. The chefs of Gilboa are renowned for their culinary abilities, so you’re guaranteed to be filled with good food AND the good news!
Faith Works Festival
A Ham and Oyster Festival was held each fall starting in 1927, and this event transformed into the annual Gilboa Turkey Supper, held the first Saturday in October. In 2010, this event evolved again, becoming the Gilboa Faith Works Festival, an outdoor celebration of harvest time which includes a farmer’s market, live music, and homemade barbecue cooked right onsite. Celebrate Autumn with us!
